WILD PIGMENT INTENSIVE AT RUBY & AMBER’S BIODYNAMIC FARM

10:00 am Saturday, thru 3:00 pm Sunday, in Dorena, Oregon.

Enter into reciprocal relationship with place by discovering what you bring to the land and what the land can bring to you. Gather wild botanical and mineral pigments, learn to make them into paint & inks, and practice elegant methods of working with these materials.

Forage for pigments in the mountains and stream beds of the Umpqua National Forest with artist Tilke Elkins, then regroup at Ruby & Amber’s Farm, a well-established biodynamic farm, for pigment processing, painting, bonding around the campfire, and sleeping under the stars. Farm-fresh veggies, eggs and other treats are included, and as a courtesy will be prepared for you for dinner, breakfast, and Sunday lunch.
